The Database Administrator for DB2 should:

• Provides support for customer's mission critical database systems in India, Canada and Colombia
• Give superior service to customers
• Work with IBM Best Practices for DB2.
• Work with backups & disaster recovery

High English level (B2-C1)|The candidate should have experience as a DBA for DB2

The successful candidate should:

• Have 5+ years overall IT experience, with 3+ years on DB2 z/OS platform.
• Have knowledge of DB2 z/OS v9 and above.
• Have well versed in database performance tuning, especially SQL tuning.
• Be skilled in backups & disaster recovery.
• Have 24x7 production support experience.
• Be capable of performing intermediate to advanced tasks related to DB2 database operation and recovery, performance and high availability.
